Do you think that possibly something is rotten in the state of your marriage? Are you beginning to feel that you are not the Most Important Person in the life of your spouse? 1. No more daily phone calls to say, “I love you”.
2. They get home from work late and smell too good.
3. You never have sex (or anything else) together anymore.
4. Your spouse doesn’t answer you when you ask how they are.
5. Your spouse is always smiling… until they see you.
None of these signs are fool proof, but taken in the context of marriage, any or all of them can be a dead giveaway. Take number one, for instance. Let’s say that lately you’re not getting that daily call from your spouse, just to ask how your day is going, or even what’s for dinner, and your call gets routed through voice mail. That’s certainly grounds for suspicion!
You must watch them closely when they get back home from work. If they come home late, saying they had to work late, check them. Are they smelling good and looking fresh. See the differences in them when they left in the morning and when they return. Is something missing or has something changed. They will always try to hide it from you and behave normal. But if you really pay attention, you can make out why they are behaving that way.
Everybody cannot have a passionate sex life always. But, if your sex life has changed in many ways, then time to stop and think – what’s going wrong? It may have not stopped, but just fading away slowly. It does not mean that your marriage is over, but the end of your marriage may be fast approaching. But all this is worth a thought.
