Getting back your ex is really not that difficult especially when that individual was deeply in love with you in the first place. It might feel a little awkward in the beginning. After all you are talking about a person who has probably expressed his love for you often and at all possible times of the day. Imagining that you would have to work at making him fall in love with you all over again can seem quite daunting.

 

But such is life, where once there was love now all that remains is unresolved emotions. Breaking up can indeed be quite painful and seem a lot like a roller coaster ride where one moment there is hope and the next a lot of heart aches.

 

You need to deal with your fluctuating emotions in order to be able to think and get back your ex. You need to also be prepared to face your ex when you get back. After all there is no point in taking out your anger and frustration on your ex when all you want to do is get back with him.

 

The following techniques can help you cope with your emotions as well as launch an effective campaign to win your ex back.

 

Writing Letters- Had it been some 20 years back or so, I would have recommended writing letters to your ex. You could use this letter to pour your heart out; venting out all your anger and frustrations over the break up on a piece of paper. Once through you could always tear the paper in tiny pieces or set it aflame. You could also save the letter and go through it once you are calm. This would have helped you to understand how you felt as well as gauge how things had changed.

 

This technique can be tried out in the present day as well. But with technology at you hands you can use an email instead of a piece of paper. Instead of jotting down your emotions on a piece of paper, type it out. Feel free to express all you feelings. It can be anything from venting out your anger to how much you really care about your ex or how much he really means to you. Once you have typed out the email you can send it to an account created by you. However be sure that you don’t mail him. Also erase it once you are back with your ex. After all you would not want him to read these!

 

Cry Scream, Yell- Try the technique of yelling, screaming or even crying out loud for that matter. You will feel good and what’s more nobody else will find out or be hurt by your actions. It is sure to provide relief to you. After all it is not good to bottle up your emotions.

 

Give Vent to Your Emotions Physically- You can always use exercise, punching bags or any other form of physical exercise such as jogging, running or even brisk walking to give vent to your frustrations, anger and any other unresolved feelings. What is interesting is that this will not only help you to cope with your anger but leave you with a toned body which is bound to get the attention of your ex when you meet him!
