Is your partner working late? Does your partner go to multiple company functions without inviting you or telling you? They take their “friends” out more often then they use to? These signs could lead to a secret that every couple is scared of, cheating.
Some Common Signs of Cheating
Lose something green in your wallet? If your noticing that your partner has bills sent to the office, doesn’t show you the bill, just tells you the amount, has them shredded, or even locks them in files there’s a chance something is going on. Does their attitude change? Normally, they won’t want to spend time with their family, and their money becomes more important.
You feel avoided. They feel annoyed by kids, and their job. They become lazy and secretive. They get defensive when you ask them about affairs that things of that nature. They have different things going on during the day, and they leave gift type items lying around. They begin to not want you touching their cell phone, and PDA. You could find pictures or unknown numbers on those items, and they wouldn’t want you to question these. Your partner could start coming home late, and they could smell like alcohol.
More signs of cheating include picking fights, stomping out of the house, not wanting to shop with you, visit your family alone and “forgetting” to wear their wedding ring. Your partner will smell different, and care more about what they look like than they normally have. They work long hours; work on weekends or days off. They don’t answer their phone when you call, ever. They are on the phone more then normal, and they get messages long after you have gone to bed.
Your partner may tell you that they aren’t cheating, you are. They may be more interested in your schedule, so you never catch them in their affair. They won’t want sex as much as you do.
All in all, you need to listen to what your gut says, even if you still love them. You may get hurt more if you don’t.
