What makes a good husband? How can one become a good husband? For many married men these are the million dollar questions as they struggle to understand the way in which their wives think. Well hopefully this article will provide you with the answers to the above questions, the answers that could ultimately enable you to have a happy, long and successful marriage.
Now I am not a relationship expert or a relationship counsellor. I am just a normal British guy who wants to make a success out of my marriage. In my business life I am a webmaster of various websites offering amongst others selling upvc doors, offering DVD authoring and I also provide Currys Voucher Codes.
A great husband is somebody who is loving, caring and loyal. The majority of people will be fully aware that without trust any relationship is virtually doomed to failure. This trust is something that must be without doubt allowing our wife to feel a sense of security.
Where there are children that have been born from the relationship then the husband should be supportive and loving towards these siblings. I am thinking here of those dads who just go to the pub each night or spend every minute of the day working. Money is important however it most certainly is not everything.
Loving and romantic are the next words that spring to mind when thinking of the required characteristics of a good husband. The honeymoon period is all but over in such a short space of time however by buying your wife the odd gift or some flowers from time to time should help to keep the flames of passion burning. Why not write her some poetry or a love song? Come on guys, you can do it.
Finally before I bore you all completely the last idea from my list is that a decent husband needs to be a good listener. The majority of women love to talk, they love to talk about their friends or their work and most certainly their problems. You may well find these subjects extremely un-interesting however make the effort to at least pretend to listen!
